5、Character: It occurs as colorless transparent monoclinic system crystal. Usually, it is dihydrated. It’s melting point is 101-102 ℃. The relative density (19 ℃) is 1.65. The refractive index is 1.440. It’s soluble in water, slightly soluble in ether and ethanol. It sublimates at the temperature of 157℃. Dihydrate form effloresces easily and turns to anhydrous form. Melting point of Oxalic Acid anhydrous is 189.5 ℃ (decomposing).
6、Usage: It’s used as reducing agent and bleaching agent.
7、Packing: It is packed with polyethylene bag as inner layer, and a compound plastic woven bag as outer layer. The net weight of each bag is 25kg.
8、Storage and Transport: It should be stored in a dry and ventilative warehouse, kept away from heat and moisture during transportation, unloaded with care so as to avoid damage. Furthermore, it must be stored separately from poisonous substances.
